Thanks Ian, glad you found it a good bit of bluff.

Impressive amount of bluff in that Progressive Aces approach, I really like that!

What a fantastic issue of Cardopolis. ♥️ Yes, Progressive Aces is a weird beast because there's a lot of to-and-froing packet wise and probably impresses magicians more than it entertains laymen. Your method, however, cuts to the quick. Very nice indeed.

Re Drinking Spell. Absolutely wonderful. I remember Daniels doing it and I remembered it from Talon. So beautifully commercial. I've created a few unusual ones based on the Hull original. The only "issue" is remembering whose turn it is as it were. I recall a dreadful magician doing your routine at a magic dinner some ten years ago and it went disastrously wrong. Reason being is that he used real alcohol! 😂 Idiot!

Anyway, thanks so much for a great read/watch David. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ Paul

Thanks Paul. Maybe there's an equally disastrous version of the Val Evans routine to be done in which you eat everything that is spelled. Would not like to imagine the finale!

Mark Shortland did a version just as you suggested with cakes. He ‘won’ every time and had to eat about six cream cakes increasing in size until he finished by eating an entire 8 inch Victoria Sponge. Hilarious! 😂
