Very sad about Shiv. I was supposed to meet up with him last Autumn for a session with him, Justin Higham and Steve Reynolds, but all the trains were cancelled that day and he couldn't get into London, so we missed the chance to meet in person for the first time in many years. I must have first met him in Marin Breese's Magic Lounge in the early 1980s, he was probably there with you and Steve Tucker. He was such a kind, skilled, and helpful magician.

Very sad re Shiv. I only met him twice. First time in the early 80s and last time at The Magic Circle Convention in 2023. I was with my friend Graham P Jolley and all three of us chatted for well over an hour. What a talented kind man. ♥ 😔

Btw, wonderful blog and vids. Nice to see Edward Victor. I've a video clip of him performing just before he died. I'll try and dig it out. ♥ Paul

David. I found it. 16 mins of Edward Victor in 1960. I've uploaded it here if interested. https://youtu.be/aXWNakFDGmE?si=HNxzluP_KnOA_DYe

Thanks Paul. Shiv was great company. He is missed every day. Thanks for the Edward Victor footage. I think I've seen that before if it's the 1957 footage from the Mystic Craig's Camera DVD set. As you'd expect, he's more serious there than when performing. Pathe has a couple of videos of Victor doing his hand shadows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLjG29E4O3E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvLcodUt9tU. Worth a look for anyone who is a Victor fan.

Absolutely right and I've added an additional tweak or two. I'll make an explanation video for the next issue.

I`m sure i`ve seen this advertised and sold on a magic shop web site for £19.99. Name of trick and web site can be found on youtube. No explanation in ad. They didn`t give any clues.....Very clever trick.

Hi David, "Edible" is hilarious. I love your cards from mouth ending, why didn't I think about that!?

Shiv's Sandwich Spread is excellent. Sorry to hear he's gone. I know how it feels, I've lost quite a few good friends over the years. Take care of yourself. Btw thanks for the Edward Victor film, good to see.

Hi Gino. No, but I am planning a print edition in the future that will incorporate everything plus bonus material.

Merci.

Thanks Jonathan. I used Google Translate. "Merci Jonathan. C'est une manipulation très économique."

Thanks David. I think this reinforces the idea that the card is sandwiched. I admit I was a little skeptical about the "topological move" to reveal it entirely.
